Definitions: In this agreement these terms have the following meanings:
(i) The “Client” means any person, company, partnership, organisation or body at whose application Web-Siters.co.uk agrees to provide the products and/or services under the terms of the agreement.
(ii) The “Agreement” means the contract between Web-Siters.co.uk and the Client to which these conditions will apply.
(iii) The “Order” is the request from the Client for products and/or services to be delivered by Web-Siters.co.uk.
(iv) “Completion of the Site” means five working days from the site being made available on a Web-Siters.co.uk server for Client approval, without notification from the Client that any part of the site is unsatisfactory.
Remittance Terms: Quotes for work from Web-Siters.co.uk are free of charge and remain valid for 30 days from the date of the quotation. For web site design and implementation Web-Siters.co.uk requires a deposit equivalent to 25% of the total fee at the time of the order before undertaking any work, the remainder to be paid following completion of the site. While any payment remains outstanding from the Client, Web-Siters.co.uk reserves the right to withhold the provision of goods or services requested by the Client that would otherwise be obligatory under the terms of the agreement. Maintenance (except contracted maintenance) will be invoiced on completion, all other products and services to be paid in full on request. All payments by cheque, bankers draft or money order must be made in pounds sterling and all credit/debit card transactions will be processed in pounds sterling.
Delivery: Upon written (email or postal) approval by the Client, the site will be uploaded to the Clients or third party server. Web-Siters.co.uk reserves the right to delay uploading of the site until payment has been received in full.
Privacy Policy: Web-Siters.co.uk guarantees not to disclose buyers' information to third parties and will ensure all data is held securely. Personal information is obtained to take and fulfill the Client Order and will only be disclosed to third-parties as part of completion of the site. For example, to purchase domain names and register with a web site hosting company where required. Web-siters.co.uk may contact you in future as part of our commitment to customer care and after sales service.
Returns Policy: The Client has the right to cancel the Order within 14 days from the date of the signed Agreement or completion of the site (whichever is the longer). On cancellation the Client will have their payment returned less any deposit and costs incurred to set up the site (for example domain name registration and third party hosting).
Accessibility: Web-siters.co.uk is committed to the design of accessible web sites and will ensure that each site released will comply with the
W3C ‘Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0' Priority 1.
Law: These terms and conditions and all other express terms of Agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England, UK.
